@ Christian as a synonym for evangelical fundamentalists

When I first came across this most silly opinion, I was surprised about such utter stupidity
And I thought: This person must be completely un-educated
Someone who has zero knowledge of religion
And I thought this was a rare case of un-usual stupidity

next stage:
When I realized that this was the norm with many such evangelical fundamentalists, I grew angry about their arrogance.
How can they!
How dare they!
How can they be so arrogant as to think they are the only Christians on earth?

next stage:
I tried to argue with them
That only leads to frustration
These people cannot be reached by reason and arguments

next stage:
I have given up arguing
This leads nowhere
So I regard those people with mild amusement and do not take them seriously any more.
Better that way,

Maybe the fundamentalists have so brainwashed the USA with their constant talk that they alone are "Christians" -
so that the use of the word "Christian" has changed in the USA to refer to fanatical fundamentalists only?

"There were 10 people at the table: 4 Catholics and 6 Christians."

The correct version would be: "There were 10 Christians at the table: 4 Catholics and 6 of those stupid and fanatical Bible Christian fundamentalists."
It is a thing of linguistcs and logic and categories, not of religion.

Can US-Catholics not think logically and in categories?

But I have been told such stupid illogical nonsense as:
"You can see the diffence if you go from a Catholic church building into a Christian church building."

I hope you can agree that such a sentence is the most stupid nonsense.
